New Development Review Project Notices

New Project - 4 Melbourne St. (Minor Site Plan)

To residents and property owners: Melbourne St, LLC has submitted an after the fact Minor Site Plan application to facilitate the creation of an eight-space, 3,295 square foot surface parking lot within the rear of 4-10 Melbourne Street. 3,990 square feet of land area would be disturbed to facilitate this project. The subject parcel is 11,142 square feet in size, is zoned R-6 Residential, and is within the Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Conservation Overlay District.

In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a Site Plan Development application must be sent to property owners located within 500 ft. of the subject property (or 1,000 ft. if the project is a subdivision or map amendment for a site located within an Industrial Zone). This application will be reviewed administratively by City Staff. This is the only notice you will receive.

A project and plan summary is available for viewing on the Citizen Self Service Portal (https://css.portlandmaine.gov/), by referencing Plan Number PL-001816-2021. Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov.
