Election Day Information

Tuesday, November 2, 2021 is Election Day. The City’s 11 polling locations will open at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM. Voters are encouraged to wear a mask or face covering when voting.

Based on your residency, you must vote at your polling place. Same day voter registration is allowed at your polling location with proof of residency.

Absentee ballots must be returned to the municipal clerk no later than 8:00 PM on Election Day. Absentee ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s Office at City Hall or the outside 24/7 official dropbox at the Myrtle Street entrance and not to your polling place.

If you requested an absentee ballot, but now wish to vote in person on Election Day, you may do so as long as you have not returned your absentee ballot.
