[ARCHIVED] Western Prom-Danforth Street-Vaughn Street Geotechnical Investigation

The Department of Public Works will be conducting geotechnical investigations at various locations on Western Promenade, Danforth Street and Vaughn Street starting Monday, 8/24/20. Northern Test Boring will have a drill rig onsite to conduct geotechnical borings and Ted Berry Company will be on site to complete test pits to determine the location of utilities as part of the design of an upcoming stormwater improvements project. This investigation work is scheduled to last about one week.

This work is being done as part of the design of an upcoming stormwater infrastructure improvements project on Western Promenade, Vaughn Street and Danforth Street.

Motorists should expect lane closures and small delays when driving through the work zone. This work will occur between 7am and 7pm on a daily basis next week.

The project is currently in the design phase. The Department of Public Works will be scheduling a neighborhood meeting help inform the public about the project as the design gets closer to completion.
