Finance Committee to Meet Throughout April and May to Review FY19 Budgets

FY19 Municipal Budget

The City Council’s Finance Committee will meet twice this week -- first on Wednesday, April 11 at 5:00 PM in Council Chambers to discuss the FY19 CIP budget. The Committee is expected to take action at this meeting before sending it to the full Council for review. The Committee will also meet on Thursday, April 12 at 5:30 PM in Room 209 to begin review of the City Manager’s FY19 Recommended Budget.


The Finance Committee will also meet on April 17 and 26 to review the City and School budgets. Mayor Strimling plans to make his budget comments at the April 26 meeting. The Committee will hold a public hearing and vote on the City budget at its May 3 meeting. 


The full Council will review the City budget on May 14 and 21. Public comments will be taken at both meetings and a final vote is expected at the meeting on the 21st.
