ATTENTION: Rental Assistance Available
The City of Portland received funding from the federal government through the CARES Act to provide aid to those affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The City has created a rental assistance program and has partnered with The Opportunity Alliance to help renters in Portland that are in need. The program will provide up to $750 in assistance for a maximum of 3 months, as well as $250 in utility assistance. Below is a link to the application, the program guidelines and a re-certification form for additional assistance. Please contact the Val Fitzgerald at The Opportunity Alliance with any questions

HUD funds are utilized to benefit low and moderate-income Portland residents and city neighborhoods where a majority of the residents earn low and moderate incomes. HCD supports a wide variety of projects and programs including social and neighborhood services, public facilities and infrastructure in eligible neighborhoods and housing rehabilitation and housing development. The Division works in partnership with residents, non-profit agencies and City departments to benefit low and moderate-income residents and improve the neighborhoods in which they live.

2019 Housing Report
The 2019 Housing Report has been provided by the Housing and Community Development Division, Planning and Urban Development Department for the City Council’s Housing Committee.
