How to Register: In order to register to vote, you must bring identification and something that shows a current address. A driver's license or state identification card with the current address meets both criteria, otherwise, a checkbook or bill addressed to the applicant at the current address along with a social security card, birth certificate, hunting/fishing license.
If you register by mail, you must send proof of identity such as a photocopy of your driver's license or other photo ID or a utility bill with your name and address on it.
You can call the City Clerk's office (874-8677) anytime within ninety (90) days of an election to request an absentee ballot or print the application from this web site. Completed absentee ballot applications can be mailed to our office or faxed to 874-8612. An absentee ballot may also be requested online. When the ballots are available, we will mail your ballot(s) to you at your home or the address you requested.
If you are interested in working at the polls on election day submitan application for either Election Clerk or Deputy Registrar to the City Clerk's office.
