If you are interested in working at the polls on Election Day, submit an online application for either Election Clerk or Deputy Registrar to the City Clerk's office. These are paid positions and no experience necessary; training will be provided. You do not need to be a Portland resident to apply.

After you submit the application mentioned above, you will need to complete these additional forms below prior to your training. Proof of citizenship and identity documents need to accompany the I-9 form (a passport or driver's license and SS card/birth cert). Also a voided check or letter from your financial institution confirming bank routing and account # needs to accompany the direct deposit form. All forms need to be signed and dated.
