Caldwell Square

This manicured square is located on the corner of Stevens and Woodfords. The square is home to Caldwell Memorial.  The memorial is a granite boulder with bronze plaque presented to City Nov. 11, 1923 by Ralph D. Caldwell Post #129, American Legion, in memory of Portland’s WW veterans.  This memorial honors the memory of Ensign Ralph D. Caldwell who was killed in WWI.
